Offerings
Three class series $150 or $60 per class

Hors d'oeuvre 3/30/10
Impress your guests with sensational hors d'oeuvre ideas. Enjoy the fruits of your efforts with wine and conservation at the end of the class.

Breads 4/13/10
Learn the basics of yeast and starters, no-knead dough and baking techniques. Non-yeast breads to include biscuits, soda and flat. Yeast breads to include Pain au Levain, pizza and brioche.

Basic Cheese Making ­ Fresh Soft Cheeses 4/28/10
Learn to make your own cheese and surprise your family with hand made cheeses you bring home. Cheeses to be made/discussed include: Paneer, Fresh Chevre, Quark, Yogurt Cheese, Cream Cheese, Marscapone, Crème Fraiche and Cottage Cheese. The class will be followed with a cheese and wine tasting.

Roman 5/11/10
Prepare and enjoy an Italian meal complete with Italian wine. Typical Roman menu to include: artichokes, risotto, fish and semifredda.

New Orleans 6/8/10
Mardi Gras in June! Jazz and good food are synonymous with New Orleans. Traditional Cajun & Creole cooking and a good time will be had by all.

Cuban 6/22/10
You don't need a Visa to get a taste of Cuba. Enjoy the colorful cuisine of our close neighbor. Menu will include Arroz con Pollo, Frijoles Negra, Spanish bean soup and flan.



Custom classes available upon request, minimum of 8 students, date and location to be determined.

All Classes include recipes and literature discussed in the class. After the class we will all sit down and enjoy the food together!

Please bring your apron... be ready to cook!

Classes are held at Mt. Airy Mansion Kitchen. Each Class requires a minimum of 8 students. Reservations accepted on a first come first serve basis. Classes can be purchased as a series or as individual class. 3 Classes $150.00 or $60.00 each
